Why is Travel Insurance important?

A lot of people ask me, since I'm an insurance agent, that why does one require Travel Insurance? They tell me that sure its a good way to be safe and all that, but why does one need to have insurance while travelling? after all its all for fun isn't it? why drag the papers in and not just go out there and have fun? So today I decided to whip up an article on this, telling people why Travel Insurance is important.

When you go out and travel, things really are much more uncertain than they seem at first. You don't know what kind of people you will meet, you don't know what intentions they might have and you don't know what will your eventual fate be, in our normal lives, a lot is pretty much predetermined, if you will perform X action you'll receive Y reaction. But while travelling, life is pretty much uncertain as I explained above.

Now you see, this is why you need travel insurance, what would happen if while on travel you got hurt? There is nobody around to help you, you know and you might not have enough money to pay up for the health expenses. Travel Insurance helps here! Then, in the other possibilities, your luggage might go missing and get stolen, how will you survive? Well, Travel insurance comes to the rescue yet again!

So practically, there are millions of reasons why you do need some Travel insurance done, it is not blasphemy you know, it is one of the most important insurances in my honest opinion though. And like I always say, get insured! Its always good to be safe.
